About FDCO

A Tanzanian NGO dedicated to dementia care, awareness and family support

Fight Dementia and Care Organization works to improve the lives of people living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias across Tanzania Mainland.

Who we are

FDCO is a registered dementia non-governmental organization under the Tanzania Ministry of Health NGO department. The organization was registered on 17 August 2018, with its area of operation covering Tanzania Mainland.

Increasing timely and accurate diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, followed by care, treatment and family guidance.

Caregiver Support

Supporting carers of people living with dementia so they can provide safer, compassionate and quality care at home and in communities.
